This red wine has the same grape composition as the non-barrel aged Colli di Parma Merlot DOC, namely Merlot grapes (85-100%), with the permitted addition of other non-aromatic, certified grapes from the zone (0-15%), with the exception of the Lambrusco type of grapes.

Colli di Parma Merlot Riserva DOC has a more or less intense ruby red color, a distinctive and inviting scent, sometimes with a spicy fragrance, and a pleasant and smooth taste. There is a dry, slightly bitter, characteristic aftertaste.

This wine is a great accompaniment of steak.

The minimum mandatory aging period is 24 months, of which 6 months in the bottle.
