As the name suggests, the red wine is made from Cabernet Franc grapes (85-100%) with the permitted addition of other non-aromatic, certified grapes from the zone (0-15%), except for the Lambrusco type of grapes.
Colli di Parma Cabernet Franc DOC has a more or less intense ruby red color and a distinctive, grassy and inviting bouquet, and a rounded, dry, herbal and harmonious aftertaste.
The wine is a great accompaniment of the entire meal, especially with steak.
A barrel-aged Colli di Parma Cabernet Franc Riserva DOC is also available.
