This red wine has the same grape composition as the non-barrel aged Colli d’Imola Rosso DOC, namely one or more local, non-aromatic types of grapes selected by the winemaker.
Colli d’Imola Rosso Riserva DOC has a ruby red color, which gets garnet red hints with age. The scent is vinous and intense, while the taste is dry but not semi-sparkling, which is otherwise common in Emilia-Romagna.
The wine has a minimum aging period of 18 months, starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.
