This red wine uses the same grape varieties as the non-barrel aged Tullum Rosso DOC, namely Montepulciano (90-100%) with the permitted addition of other local non-aromatic blue grapes (0-10%).
Tullum Rosso Riserva DOC (or Terre Tollesi Rosso Riserva DOC) is a ruby red wine with shades of purple that become more granate after aging. The aroma is etherial and intense, while the taste is dry, ample and velvety.
Required maturation is 2 years of which 6 months in wooden casks.
