It's not often you see the Cabernet and Sangiovese grapes combined on the same label of an Italian wine. That is, however, the case with this rarely seen red Tullum Cabernet Sangiovese DOC (or Terre Tollesi Cabernet Sangiovese DOC), and both grapes must make up, either alone or combined (90-100%). There can also be local, non-aromatic grapes added (0-10%).
Tullum Cabernet Sangiovese DOC is ruby red with delicate violet nuances. The aroma is vinous, distinctive, often with the scent of wood from the cask. The taste is typical for the grape varieties which means dry, soft and velvety.
Released on the market on January 1st of the second year following the harvest.
