Normally, the grape variety Falanghina is found in the neighbouring region Campania, where it makes an impressive white wine, and producers in Tullum DOC are now trying to reach that same high level. Falanghina (90-100%) may be supplemented with local, non-aromatic green grapes (0-10%).
Tullum Falanghina DOC (or Terre Tollese Falanghina DOC) is very light straw-coloured, the aroma fruity, delicate and distinctive. The taste is dry, fresh and harmonious.
