This red wine has the same grape composition as the non-barrel aged Colli Romagna Centrale Rosso DOC, namely Cabernet Sauvignon grapes (50-60%) and/or Barbera and/or Merlot and/or Montepulciano grapes (40-50%).
Colli Romagna Rosso Riserva DOC is a dry, intense ruby red wine, with good body and sometimes with a slightly tannic taste.
The minimum aging period is 2 years, of which some time must be in barrels.
