This version of the white wine from the Rébola grape, Colli di Rimini Rébola Passito DOC, is a sweetish, balanced and soft dessert wine. Rébola is the local name of the Pignoletto grape (85-100%), to which may be further added Biancame and/or Mostosa and/or Trebbiano Romagnolo grapes (0-15%).
The wine is produced from slightly dried grapes, almost raisins, which provide it with higher alcohol content. The wine has a color that varies from yellow to amber, a distinctive and intense scent, and a sweet, velvety taste.
Best enjoyed with dessert.
A dessert type and an aperitif type are also available, namely Colli di Rimini Rébola Amabile DOC, Colli di Rimini Rébola Dolce DOC, and the dry Colli di Rimini Rébola DOC.
