Made from the same grapes as Cirò Rosso, those being Gaglioppo (95-100%) as well as Trebbiano Toscana and/or Greco Bianco (0-5%).
The colour is more or less straw yellow, the nose delicate and vinous with a dry, fresh, balanced and inviting taste. Must reach a minimum alcohol level of 12.5%. Is not found as a Classico.
Can be paired with most dishes. Rarely found outside of Calabria.
Should be drunk young.
