Castel del Monte Sauvignon is a newer DOC white wine, which promises much, especially the type ‘Terra al Monte’, from the leading producer Rivera.

The grape is Sauvignon (90-100%), with permission to add local white grapes (0-10%).

Castel del Monte Sauvignon DOC is a rather intense straw yellow white wine with an intense scent, characteristic of this type. The taste is dry and harmonious.

There is also a fizzy type available.
