Salice Salentino DOC

Salice Salentino DOC may very well be described as the best-known Apulian wine zone. The area stretches from what you may see as the middle of the heel of the peninsula to the southern tip.

Generally, the varied soil of the Salento plains and the climatic conditions allow the production of very powerful wines, with the Negroamaro grapes imposing a standard in terms of pungency, power and spice, a character which becomes more pronounced as you go further south.

Salice Salentino DOC wines are grown around the town bearing the same name and is located in the Lecce and Brindisi provinces.
