Castel del Monte Aglianico Rosato DOC is produced from the same red wine grapes as Castel del Monte Aglianico, namely the Aglianico grape (90-100%) with the permitted addition of other local, non-aromatic red grapes (0-10%).
The color is a relatively intense pink. It is fragrant and rather intense, while the taste is dry and balanced.
A light sparkling Castel del Monte Aglianico Rosato DOC is also available, along with its cousins, of course, Castel del Monte Aglianico Rosso DOC and the barrel aged Castel del Monte Aglianico Riserva DOC.
Enjoyed to antipasti and semi-hard cheeses.
