Although the Traminer Aromatico grape (or Gewürztraminer) has its absolute stronghold in Alto Adige DOC, it may also provide interesting results in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and, in this case, in Collio Goriziano DOC.
This is a straw-yellow wine, with golden-yellow hints. The scent is typical and characteristic of the grape, while the taste is dry, aromatic, intense, equally distinctive and mellow.
Collio Goriziano Traminer Aromatico DOC can be enjoyed with various dishes.
A barrel-aged Collio Goriziano Traminer Aromatico Riserva DOC is also available, with a required maturation of 2 years and 12% minimum alcohol content.
