This 100% Chardonnay wine is a fresh, dry and pleasant white wine. However, some types seem to have a fuller and more mature flavor and they are considered among Italy’s best Chardonnay wines.
Collio Goriziano Chardonnay DOC has a straw-yellow color, a delicate and distinctive scent, as well as a mellow and balanced taste.
A barrel-aged Collio Goriziano Chardonnay DOC is also available, with a required maturation of 2 years.
Both types are best enjoyed with fish dishes.
