This is a relatively intense ruby red wine, with a distinctive, grassy and pleasant fragrance, and a dry, well-rounded, herbaceous and balanced taste.
The regular Collio Goriziano Cabernet Franc DOC is a very fresh red wine that can be enjoyed with most dishes.
A barrel-aged Collio Goriziano Cabernet Franc Riserva DOC is also available, with a mandatory aging period of no less than 3 years, of which 6 months in wooden barrels and having 12% alcohol content.
Enjoyed with red meat, lamb and mature cheeses.
