Although this wine only bears the name Cabernet, it may be either a blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, or it may be made of either one of the two varieties.
The wine has a ruby red color with garnet hints, a distinctive, slightly grassy scent, which becomes more ethereal and herbaceous with time, and a dry taste, with light herbal notes.
The barrel-aged Collio Goriziano Cabernet Riserva DOC is also available, with the required maturation of 3 years, of which 6 months in wooden barrels.
