Even in its more ordinary versions, this white, intense straw-yellow, 100% Pinot Bianco-based wine is the elite of the Friuli white wines.
Although originally, Collio Goriziano Pinot Bianco DOC was a light type of wine, the new winemaking technique renders it a more intense golden color, as well as a stronger, more distinctive bouquet, which makes it similar to the great white Bourgogne in many ways. The taste is dry, mellow and harmonious.
If the label mentions “Riserva”, it means that the wine has a required maturation of 2 years and minimum 12% alcohol content.
