The Pignoletto grape is especially known from the neighboring zone Colli Bolognesi DOC, and it must make up 85% of the composition of the white Reno Pignoletto DOC wine along with other non-aromatic grapes from the zone (0-15%).

Reno Pignoletto DOC is a dark straw-yellow white wine, with green hints. The taste is delicate, balanced and subtle despite the dry, sweetish or sweet version.

The dry type is best enjoyed with fish, while the sweet type is best served with tasty cheeses.
