This dry white wine can be called Pagadebit di Romagna Bertinoro DOC only if it is produced in the municipality of Bertinoro, in the provinces of Forli-Cesena.
The wine, made exclusively from the Pagadebit grape (local name for Bombino Bianco), has a more or less intense straw yellow color, a distinctive scent with hawthorn notes, and a dry, smooth and delicious taste, with herbal hints.
There is also a sweetish Pagadebit di Romagna Bertinoro Amabile DOC type produced in the area and bubbly types are also available.
That Italy in 2011 was the worlds largest wine producer?
