As the name suggests, the grapes used for this red wine are, not surprisingly, Merlot (85-100%), with the permitted addition of other non-aromatic grapes (0-15%).
Bosco Elicio Merlot DOC has a ruby red color with violet hints, a distinctive and slightly grassy scent, and a dry, sweetish or sweet taste. The wine is either still or slightly sparkling/bubbly.
