Valdadige Terradeiforti Casetta DOC is a red wine made from the local grape variety Casetta (85-100%), with the permitted addition of other local red grapes (0-15%).
The result is a dark ruby red wine, with garnet notes that come with aging. The aroma is distinctive and slightly spicy, the taste is dry, full-bodied, balanced and often quite tannic.
The minimum aging period is of 10 months, starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.
Pairs well with most dishes, including sausages, polenta and aged cheeses.
From the same grape variety there is produced an aged type, Valdadige Terradeiforti Casetta Riserva DOC.
