This rosé wine is made from the same grapes as the red wine Valdadige Rosso DOC, namely the Enantio basic grape (or Lambrusco a Foglia Frastagliata) and/or Schiava grape (50-100%) and Merlot, Pinot Nero, Lagrein, Teroldego, Cabernet Franc or Cabernet Sauvignon (0-50%).
If the wine is made from the grapes originating in the province of Bolzano, the label will often indicate the German name, Etschtaler Bianco DOC.
Valdadige Rosato DOC is a more or less intense pink colored wine, with a vinous, inviting and delicate scent. The taste is soft and slightly acidic. Sometimes, it can be slightly sweet.
The wine pairs well with risotto with parsley, white meat and soft cheeses.
