This red wine is made from Petit Rouge (70-100%), along with local red grapes, typically Dolcetto and/or Pinot Noir and/or Gamay (0-30%).

Valle d’Aosta Chambave Rosso DOC is a pleasant ruby red wine, dry and with its own characteristic taste and bouquet, which after aging can remind you of violets. Dry, well-tasting and even.

Must contain a minimum 11% alcohol concentration and be aged at least 5 months prior to sale.

There is also a Superiore (Supérieur) with an 8-month aging requirement and 12% alcohol concentration and a shelf life of 2 years.
