Friuli Colli Orientali Sauvignon DOC is a lovely straw colored wine, with a delicate and aromatic scent and a quality that can make it measure up not only to similar types from Collio DOC, but also from France’s best Sauvignon wines.
As one can notice, the main grape used for this wine is the Sauvignon (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local white grapes (0-15%).
Friuli Colli Orientali Sauvignon DOC has a delicate and slightly aromatic scent, while the taste is dry, fresh and balanced.
A barrel-aged Friuli Colli Orientali Sauvignon Riserva DOC is also available, with minimum 11% alcohol content and a period of aging of no less than 2 years, beginning on November 1st of the harvesting year.
