Friuli Colli Orientali Ribolla Gialla di Rosazzo DOC is the result of the new DOC regulations, which came into force in 2011, with effect from the 2012 vintage. This type, also a subzone under the main Friuli Colli Orientali DOC main zone, is produced in the municipalities of San Giovanni al Natisone, Manzano and Corno di Rosazzo, as well as in smaller neighboring municipalities.
As the name suggests, the white wine is made from Ribolla Gialla grapes (85-100%), with the permitted addition of other white grapes.
Friuli Colli Orientali Ribolla Gialla di Rosazzo DOC is a more or less intense straw yellow wine with a typical and perfumed scent. The taste is dry, fresh and harmonious.
Enjoyed with fish and antipasti.
