Matera Rosso DOC is a red wine made from the grapes Sangiovese (minimum 60%) and Primitivo (minimum 10%), with the permitted addition of other local, non-aromatic grape varieties (0-10%).
The color is ruby red, the scent is complex and fruity, with a deep aroma and the taste is typical and harmonious. 12% is the minimum alcohol content.
The mandatory aging period of 1 year must begin on November 1st of the harvesting year before released on the market.
