Matera Primitivo Passito DOC is a red dessert wine based on the same grapes as the red wine Matera Primitivo DOC, meaning Primitivo (90-100%) with the permitted addition of local, non-aromatic varieties (0-10%). After harvesting, the grapes are semidried before pressing.
The wine has a red more or less intense garnet color. The scent is characteristic and intense, the taste sweet, harmonious and velvety.
Goes well with cakes with or without cream or cheese with herbs.
