Matera Moro DOC is a red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes (minimum 60%), Primitivo (minimum 20%) and Merlot (10%), with the permitted addition of other local, non-aromatic red grape varieties.
This wine has an intense and persistent ruby red color and a dry, full-bodied and harmonious taste, with a velvety texture. The minimum alcohol content is 12%.
The mandatory aging period is 1 year beginning on November 1st of the harvesting year before Matera Moro DOC is released on the market.
