Leverano Rosato DOC is a rosé wine made from the same grapes as the red wine, Leverano Rosso DOC, specifically Negroamaro (50-100%), Malvasia Nera di Lecce and/or Montepulciano, Sangiovese (0-40%), as well as up to 30% other local, red grapes.
It is a light pink to cherry colored wine, often with orange red accents. The scent is slightly vinous and fruity, while the taste is dry, fresh and balanced. It certainly is an inviting wine.
Leverano Rosato DOC pairs well with almost any dish.
