Controguerra Bianco DOC is produced of a combination of the grapes Trebbiano Toscano and/or Trebbiano Abruzzese (50-100%) and Passerina (0-10%) together with other authorized, local varieties (0-40%).
This white wine is straw yellow, the aroma fruity and the taste dry, with a pleasant, slightly bitter finish. You can also get a fizzy Frizzante type.
Locally, Controguerra Bianco DOC is used as an aperitif or together with the region's many fish dishes.
