Trento Spumante Rosato DOC is a more or less pink colored sparkling rose wine, with a fine foam and persistent bubbles. The wine has a fruity aroma and delicate scent, sometimes with notes of grape skin residues. The taste is fresh, exuberant, harmonious and moderately full-bodied.
The wine is also known as Trento Rosato DOC.
Trento Spumante Rosato DOC is made from the Chardonnay and/or Pinot Bianco, Pinot Nero and Pinot Meunier grape varieties, namely the same grapes as the Trento Spumante Bianco DOC.
The minimum period of fermentation in the bottle is 15 months, starting no sooner than January 1st of the year following the harvest.
The wine pairs well with antipasti, trout and pastries.
