A powerful red wine from the local grape, Nero d’Avola (Calabrese), which, additionally, is identical to the unaged Delia Nivolelli Nero d’Avola. The wine must contain a minimum 85% of Nero d'Avola, with permission to add local red grapes (0-15%).
The wine is intense ruby red to orange. The aroma is characteristic, pleasant and more or less intense. The taste is dry, very full and harmonious.
The mandatory aging period is 2 years, and may, at the earliest, begin January 1 the year after the harvest.
