Delia Nivolelli Merlot Riserva is made from the same grapes as the unaged version. That is Merlot (85-100%), with permission to add local red grapes (0-15%).
The wine is a dark, ruby red with flecks of orange that increase after longer aging. The taste is dry, exceedingly mellow and inviting.
The mandatory aging period is 2 years, which, at the earliest, begins January 1 after the harvest.
