This red wine primarily uses the grapes Nero d’Avola and/or Perricone (50-100%), though additional local red grapes (0-50%) can also be added.
The wine is more or less an intense ruby red, often with purple-red streaks and flecks. The aroma is inviting and typical, while the taste is dry, harmonious and very structured.
