It is the international grape, Pinot Nero, that is used in this Sicilian red wine (85-100%), with permission to add local red grapes (0-15%).
The color is more or less ruby red, and the wine has a fruit-rich bouquet together with a balanced and inviting taste.
There is also a Reserve version, where the mandatory aging period is 2 years, the alcohol concentration 12% and the shelf life 4-5 years.
