This red wine is made from the same grapes as the unaged Contea di Sclafani Rosso, namely the grapes Nero d’Avola and/or Perricone (50-100%) are used. Local red grapes (0-50%) can also be added.
The wine is an intense ruby red with purple-red streaks and flecks. The aroma is inviting and typical, while the taste is dry, harmonious and very structured.
