Just as the “regular” Dolce (sweet) type, Salice Salentino Aleatico Liquoroso Dolce is a fortified dessert wine produced from the Aleatico grape, with the permitted addition of up to 15% Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera and Primitivo. The wine must have an alcohol content of maximum 16% +2% residual sugar.
After storing, this lovely wine becomes even more stylish and elegant than the regular sweet “Dolce” version, Salice Salentino Aleatico Dolce DOC. The wine has a more or less intense ruby red color, which gets purple reflections with age, and a moderately sweet, warm, harmonious and tempting taste.
When Salice Salentino Aleatico Liquoroso Dolce DOC is aged for 2 years, the word “Riserva” must be mentioned on the label.
Enjoyed for desserts.
That Italy in 2011 was the worlds largest wine producer?
