Galatina Rosso DOC has the same grape composition as Galatina Rosato, namely Negroamaro grapes (85-100%), local red varieties and/or other non-aromatic grapes (0-15%). It is a remarkable red wine, situated on the same rank with other good Salento wines.
The wine is dry and robust, with a brick-red color in 3 or 4 years, which is when it should be served.
