Orta Nova Rosso DOC is an obscure red wine grown around the town of Orta Nova, south of Foggia. It’s produced from Sangiovese grapes (60-100%), Uva di Troia and/or Montepulciano, Lambrusco Maestri and Trebbiano Toscano (0-40%).

The color ranges from ruby to garnet red but gets orange reflections with age. The scent is vinous and inviting and the taste is full-bodied, with balanced tannins. The minimum alcohol content is 12%.

Aging potential is up to 4 years.
