As with the red wine, Matino Rosso DOC, the Rosato is rarely seen outside the Martino DOC zone, but nevertheless comparable to other Salento wines.
It is the southernmost DOC wine of Salento. Just as the Rosso, the Martino Rosato DOC is made from Negroamaro grapes (70-100%) and Malvasia Nera and/or Sangiovese (0-30%).
The color of this intense rosé is golden, which darkens with age. The wine has a dry, characteristic taste.
