Two extremely interesting wines are grown in a certain part of “Murge Salentine”, which includes the city of Matino, located in the province of Lecce, as well as some parts of the neighboring districts.
The wines are mostly produced from Negroamaro grapes, although DOC allows the addition of Malvasia Nera and/or Sangiovese varieties.
