Copertino Rosso Riserva DOC is a powerful and extremely robust red wine, grown in the heart of the Salento peninsula, around the city of Copertino. The color is deep ruby red, which turns to brick red as the wine ages, and the taste is soft, full-bodied, with good flavor and good taste, along with a pleasant bitter undertone.
It is a very generous wine which improves after storing 4 or, sometimes, up to 10 years depending on the vintage. Required minimum alcohol strength is 12%.
Copertino Rosso Riserva DOC can be one of the area’s most delicious wines.
Aging potential is 6-10 years.
