Wine: Rosato
Taste: Dry
Min. alcohol: 12%
Copertino Rosato DOC is a rosé wine (Rosato), almost salmon-colored or sometimes pale cherry-colored. Although the wine is light, its scent is aggressive yet pleasantly sharp.
The grape composition is the same as the Copertino Rosso DOC: Negroamaro (70-100%), with the addition of Malvasia Nera di Brindisi or Malvasia Nera di Lecce and/or Montepulciano (0-30%) and a maximum of 15% Sangiovese.
The taste is pleasant and dry without being sharp. There are light herb notes, which fit the slightly bitter aftertaste.
Aging potential is up to 2 years.
