Torgiano Spumante is a more or less intense, straw yellow, sparkling wine of the Spumante type. The aroma is light and pleasantly fruity, the taste dry, clean, elegant and balanced with light notes of apples and hawthorn blossoms.
The grape composition is Chardonnay (40-50%) and Pinot Nero (40-50%), with permission to add other local, non-aromatic red or green grapes.
Torgiano Spumante is produced according to Metodo Classico and must rest on the lees for 2 years prior to being released for sale.
A wonderful aperitif.
