The color is garnet red with purple-red flecks, the aroma is persistent and typical for the grape. The taste is dry and with a full body.
Pinot Nero di Torgiano matures within 3 years.
The mandatory aging period is 1 year, of which 6 months are in the bottle. The wine is released for sale on December 1 of the harvest year.
The shelf life is 3 years and the wine goes well with most everything.
