As the name indicates, this red wine is produced from the Merlot grape (85-100%), with permission to use 15% of other local, red grapes.
The color is ruby red with flecks of violet, and the aroma is vinous and typical for the grape. The taste is smooth and aromatic.
Mandatory aging is 1 year, 6 months of which is in the bottle. The wine is released for sale on December 1 of the harvest year.
The shelf life is 3 years.
