Carso Chardonnay DOC has a grape composition of minimum 85% Chardonnay grapes, with the permitted addition of local white grapes (0-15%).
This is a straw-colored white wine, with a delicate and complex scent, and a dry, full-bodied and balanced taste.
From certain producers, Carso Chardonnay DOC may measure up to the quality of the Chardonnay of both Collio DOC and Collio Orientali del Friuli DOC.
The wine is a great accompaniment of fish.
