Taburno Piedorosso DOC comes from the grape of the same name, the local Piedirosso, which can be translated ”red feet”. The grape must make up a minimum 85% and local, non-aromatic red grapes can also be added (0-15%).
The color is a more or less intense ruby red, and the aroma is vinous, inviting and characteristic. The taste is dry and fruity, which is typical for the Piedirosso grape.
Goes well with most on the table, though not the heaviest of dishes.
