Alghero Liquoroso is in every way a remarkably rich, red dessert wine. In addition to the high density, it has an unusual bouquet of berries and herbs, as well as a warm, delicious elegance, the wine measuring up to the great port wines.

The producer Sella & Mosca have been setting the standards for years with their “Angelo Ruju” (local dialect for “The Red Angel”). The wine is made from Cannonau grapes (100%), which are pressed after being partially or entirely dried for 15-20 days.

The wine acquires a beautiful garnet brick red color with age, it has a very intense, complex and ethereal scent, as well as a sweet, full-bodied and balanced taste.

The minimum aging period is of 3 years, and 18% is the minimum alcohol content.

Alghero Liquoroso Riserva is also available, with a mandatory aging period of 5 years and 18% alcohol content.

The storage potential is of 10 years or more.
