Alghero Bianco is grown and produced in the northwestern part of Sardinia and is a relatively light, straw-colored white wine, made from the local grapes Torbato and Vermentino, Chardonnay and Savignon. The grapes must be approved by the Sassari province wine authorities.
The flavor is delicate, balanced and inviting.
A sparkling Spumante Algheri and an Algero Frizzante are made from the same grape composition, with an alcohol content of 10.5% minimum.
Finally, there is the Alghero Passito dessert wine, made from partially dried grapes. The color is golden yellow, the scent is fresh, resembling freshly picked fruit. The taste ranges from semi-sweet to sweet, while the taste is intense, rich and honey-like.
Alghero Passito is suitable as a meditation wine, enjoyed during quiet moments. The minimum alcohol content is 17%.
